The foreign exchange market is also known as the FX market, and the forex market. Trading that takes place between two counties with different currencies is the basis for the fx market and the background of the trading in this market. The forex market is over thirty years old, established in the early 1970′s. The forex market is one that is not based on any one business or investing in any one business, but the trading and selling of currencies.

The difference between the stock market and the forex market is that the forex market is global, worldwide. The stock market is something that takes place only within a country. The stock market is based on businesses and products that are within a country, and the forex market takes that a step further to include any country.

The stock market has set business hours. Generally, this is going to follow the business day, and will be closed on banking holidays and weekends. The forex market is one that is open generally twenty four hours a day because the vast number of countries that are involved in forex trading, buying and selling are located in so many different times zones. As one market is opening, another countries market is closing. This is the continual method of how the forex market trading occurs.

The stock market in any country is going to be based on only that countries currency, say for example the Japanese yen, and the Japanese stock market, or the United States stock market and the dollar. However, in the forex market, you are involved with many types of countries, and many currencies. You will find references to a variety of currencies, and this is a big difference between the stock market and the forex market.

Right Brainers Are Not the Only Creative People In the World

Have you ever wondered how certain people come up with some of those great ideas? You have probably considered yourself more of a left brain type person and not very creative. Many people spend their whole life creating music, writing books or making beautiful paintings, while the rest of us just wonder how they did it. Well, new research has been done that gives evidence that shows being creative is a learned skill and not a gift of genetics.

Even in business, there is example after example of people who have invented a gadget or a machine or have altered a process, that has made the inventor a lot of money or has saved their company untold amounts of time and effort, which equals money. That is when you tell yourself, “I sure wish I would have thought of that!”

Well, take heart, maybe you can teach yourself how to be more creative and innovative. A recent article in the Wall Street Journal, written by Jonah Lehrer, claims that “…creativity is not magic, and there’s no such thing as a creative type. Creativity is not a trait that we inherit in our genes or a blessing bestowed by the angels. It’s a skill. Anyone can learn to be creative and to get better at it.”

If you dig into the histories of the famous inventors and creators over the past 200 years or so, you will find many stories of people who spent hours, days, weeks, months and even years to create a new whatever or make it better. Sometimes just sheer luck or being at the right place at the right time, allows us to see something or hear something that clicks in our mind and from that little something, a new invention is born or a new song is written or a new whatever is created.

So now you are asking yourself, “How do I train myself to become an inventor, to become more creative?” There are a number of things you can and should do. The following is not a comprehensive list of those items, but here are some of the things that research have shown that has helped individuals become more creative.

Learn to daydream. Day dreamers seem to be more adept at being creative. Letting your mind wander in fertile fields, so to speak, is daydreaming.

Try to remember your childhood and how your mind worked back then. Remember some of the items that you played with in the back yard and how your imagination ran wild to come up with what to do with those items and how to use them to play? Become a child again in your creativity.

Try to find open spaces to do your work, where you can think and create. Don’t confine yourself to a small room or a little cubbyhole type of office.

Learn to generalize whatever problem you are working on. Take the specificity out it. If it is too specific you may limit some of the possibilities that are available to your mind.

The last thing on this list is to keep trying. Many inventions were created after hundreds of tries. If it didn’t work one way, try another and another and another, until it works or until you know for sure that it is a fruitless endeavor.

Have you ever said, “I sure wish I could play the piano?” Maybe you could if you would only try. Have you ever decided to take piano lessons? You didn’t even try, did you? You must try before you can do anything. As you try to work at a new endeavor, it will become easier and you will get the hand of it. You can become as creative as you will let yourself.
